SWOOP is located at the Dundas Air Plaza, on Highway 5 near Hamilton at the apex of the Golden Horseshoe. We offer free camping with onsite showers. We also have a great big fire pit that we use almost every night!

We have several facilities available including a lounge, creeper pad, classroom, coaching area, two covered packing tents, and gear rental. We are proud to be able to provide services to hundreds of first-jump students every year

At SWOOP, we believe that we have one of the best views in Ontario! One plane ride will show you on the spectacular sight below of the entire Golden Horseshoe. You can see Waterdown, Guelph, Dundas, Hamilton, the Hamilton Harbor, Burlington, the Burlington Skyway Bridge, Lake Ontario, the nearby Conservation Areas and the Niagara Escarpment. On a clear day, we can see the mist of Niagara Falls and the C.N. Tower!

Availability:
Please be aware that SWOOP is not open for student jumps during weekdays unless you’ve made prior arrangements. Since we are a non-profit Club, we all have weekday jobs, and are unavailable for student training and jumping throughout the week. However, for experienced jumpers we are frequently open weekday evenings. Contact us for details. Of course, our booking is always available either on line or by phone.

Equipment:
Our aircraft are standard in the skydiving industry and are kept up-to-date in partnership with Transport Canada and in compliance with the Canadian Air Regulations.
SWOOP employs three aircraft: a five passenger Cessna 206 and two four-passenger Cessna 182’s.
