PROGRESSIVE FREEFALL FIRST JUMP PROGRAM
SWOOP offers a unique experience for those wishing to learn here in Canada. Take charge and step out into the blue skies with your own parachute for your first Skydive with two instructors by your side.
Progressive FreeFall or PFF is the ‘Go-For-The-Gusto’ skydive where you go all the way with this intensive jump. This Skydive is designed for the adrenaline junkies who want to gain the maximum amount of skill and knowledge in the minimum amount of time, with the fewest number of jumps!! On your first jump, YOU pull your own parachute, and with ground radio control you fly yourself down to the ground!
Once you have completed your Level 1 PFF jump you can continue advancing through our CSPA-approved 7-Level PFF training program. This is the quickest and the most effective way to become a Solo Skydiver and will help you to achieve your ‘Solo Certificate’ and your ‘A’ License in the shortest amount of time, with the fewest number of jumps.
Here is a brief description of the remaining PFF Levels and what they’ll teach you:
Level 2 – Two Instructors teach you to turn in freefall, move forward and stop.
Level 3 – Two Instructors stay with you but do not hold on. This is your first chance to solo freefall!
Level 4 – Only one Instructor this time. We start you on controlled 90-180 degree turns.
Level 5 – More turns, 180 to 360 degrees.
Level 6 – Solo exit, back loop and recovery, some forward movement and docking.
Level 7 – Diving exit, docking, and demonstrating your safe skydiving ability.
Throughout your PFF Program, we provide you with a great deal of training about other aspects of skydiving as well. You will learn about your equipment, gear checks, pilot briefing, aircraft instruments, spotting, canopy control, accuracy landings, and parachute packing. By the end of your 7 Levels, you will know everything you need to know to make a safe skydive on your own.
