Refund Cancellation Policy

At Skydive Swoop, we strive to get everyone in the air safely. Because skydiving is highly dependent on weather and specialized equipment and that a lot goes into organizing a day of skydiving,  we have established the following guidelines for refunds and cancellations.

  1. Weather & Maintenance Cancellations

Skydiving is a weather-dependent sport. If your jump is cancelled by the Club due to unsafe weather conditions (high winds, low clouds) or unexpected aircraft maintenance:

    • Rescheduling: You may reschedule your jump for any available future date and time at no additional cost.
  1. Participant Cancellations & No-Shows

To ensure our pilots and instructors are scheduled efficiently, we require advance notice for cancellations:

    • Less than week Notice: Cancellations made within this window forfeit the deposit (or a fixed “late cancellation fee”) to cover administrative and staffing costs.
    • No-Shows: Failure to show up for your scheduled time without notice will result in the forfeiture of the full jump deposit and may incur additional operational charges.
  1. Membership & Licensed Jumper Accounts

For club members and licensed skydivers maintaining a “Jump Account”:

    • Membership Fees: Annual or seasonal membership dues are generally non-refundable once the season has commenced.
  1. Progressive Free Fall (PFF) Program

The Progressive Free Fall (PFF) program is an intensive, resource-heavy training curriculum. Due to the requirement for dedicated instructor scheduling, ground school coordination, and reserved aircraft slots, the following policy applies to all PFF students:

    • All payments for the PFF Ground School and individual PFF jumps are non-refundable. Once a student has registered or purchased a jump package, the funds are committed to the resources required to facilitate that training.
    • No-Shows: Students who fail to attend their scheduled Ground School without 48 hours’ notice will forfeit their course fee
    • If a student chooses to discontinue the PFF program for personal reasons (e.g., loss of interest, time constraints, or fear), no refunds will be issued for the remaining jumps in a pre-paid package.
    • If a lead instructor determines that a student is not meeting the safety requirements to continue the program (Safety Hold), the student’s account may be paused. In rare cases:
      • The remaining balance may be converted to a “Store Credit” for other club services (such as Tandem jumps or merchandise) at the Board’s discretion.
      • No cash or credit card refunds will be issued
  1. Gift Certificates

    • Gift certificates are non-refundable but are fully transferable to another person.
    • Generally, gift certificates do not expire, with few exceptions, but may be subject to a “price adjustment fee” if the cost of a jump increases significantly between the time of purchase and the date of redemption.
